Migrate/Import Oracle database to DOORS

Hi, I have a question here regarding database migration for DOORS:

We have an old VMS/VAX system with RTM on it which uses an oracle database and we are planning on migrating this database to DOORS 9.2. Using the built in export function exp of oracle I am able to get a binary output file of the whole database.

I was wondering if there is any know way to be able to import or migrate the database to DOORS by using this export file?

Thanks in advance for your help!

I suggest you use excel to query your tables then save the data as csv's and use the File -> Import -> Spreadsheet tool
I did exactly the same thing a long time ago. I remember using a macro to create a level attribute (counted the dots in the heading numbers +1) and one to seperate the heading and text into seperate attributes (object heading and Object Text), then a dxl macro to put the objects at the right object level in DOORS data after I'd imported the sheets using the standard tool. May well have used AutoHotkey to automate the process as well. Not a pain free exercise if I recall, but not to desperate.
